Product description

Repair compound for quick and permanent repair of damaged/perforated metal fuel tanks. After hardening, it is very resistant to gasoline and diesel oil and can be sanded, processed and painted after 60 minutes. Withstands regular exposure to temperatures of 120°C. Short-term up to 180°C.

How to use

Very important - Thoroughly clean the area to be repaired from rust and other contamination using e.g. a metal brush or sandpaper and degrease it.

Cut off a piece of repair material and knead it by hand for about 2 minutes, mix thoroughly until a uniform color is obtained. An increase in the temperature of the kneaded mass is a signal that the hardening process has started.

Immediately apply the mass to the repaired area and crush it thoroughly, completely covering the damaged area and the surrounding area to a minimum of three centimeters.

Initial hardening time 8-12 minutes depending on the ambient temperature.

Complete hardening time 60 minutes. After 180 minutes, the tank can be refilled with fuel.

It is not recommended to perform repairs at temperatures below 5ºC because the hardening process will be significantly prolonged.
